The Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme (BSCC) is a flagship initiative launched by the Government of Bihar under the Seven Nischay - Youth Power, Bihar's Future mission.

The scheme aims to support students who wish to pursue higher education but face financial challenges. Eligible students can receive education loan assistance up to 4,00,000 rupees for approved courses and institutions. This initiative helps students continue their education journey without financial barriers and promotes youth empowerment through quality education.

Eligibility Criteria

Residency: Applicant must be a permanent resident of Bihar.
Educational Qualification: Must have passed Class 12 from a recognized board for undergraduate courses. Graduation qualification is required for postgraduate courses.
Age Limit: Maximum 25 years for Undergraduate Courses. Maximum 30 years for Postgraduate Courses.
Enrollment: Student must be enrolled in an approved course and institution.

How to Apply

Step 1 - Visit Official Portal
Go to the official website: https://www.7nishchay-yuvaupmission.bihar.gov.in

Step 2 - Complete Online Registration
Fill out the online application form with your Personal Details, Identity Information, Educational Qualifications, Course and Institution Details, and Contact Information. After successful submission, a Unique Application ID will be generated.

Step 3 - DRCC Verification
Students must visit their District Registration and Counselling Centre (DRCC) with their Application Printout, Passport Photos, Self-attested Documents, and Original Certificates. The verification process will be completed by authorized officials.
